About Apostle David

Apostle Dr, David Karanja, the leader and the visionary of Christ Harvesters Ministries International was born in Ngecha village in Kenya. He accepted Christ in April 1986 while he was still in High school. Since then, he has been committed and faithful to his walk with Christ. He is married to Sister Teresiah Karanja and together has been blessed with four children Lucy, John, Stephen and Benjamin.

Apostle Dr. David received a call to ministry in 1989 while pursuing a career in accounting. Having heard the voice of God, he knew that his future was not in accounting but in ministry. He immediately obeyed the call and became a Pastor of a congregation of less than a 100 members in Kenya. Even though God was touching and changing lives in Kenya through him, he knew that God had a great future for him. He left Kenya in 2001 to pursue the desire and a dream that God had put in his heart. He joined Beulah Heights University in Atlanta Georgia and graduated in May 2005 with a BA in Leadership and Administration. In April 2007, he earned a master’s degree in Church Leadership at Southwestern Christian University in Bethany Oklahoma. On June 26th 2010, he graduated with a Doctor of ministry degree.

In 2004, he started Christ Harvesters Ministries International with only 7 members including his family. Under the leadership of Apostle David and First Lady Teresiah Karanja, this ministry has grown from 7 to more than 1000 members in a span of 4 years. He has led the church from a mobile home to owning a 12 acre property in Dallas Highway, Marietta, Georgia. Christ Harvesters Ministries International has grown in every area providing ministries and services that impact every area of life.

The desire of Apostle Dr. David is to see many individuals delivered, healed, restored and walking into their God given destiny. In May 2005, He received a mandate from God to take over this territory. Since then Rd. Apostle David and Teresiah Karanja , along with the entire Christ Harvesters Ministries International family has endeavored to fulfill this mandate. The taking over this territory for Jesus has been a spiritual journey that has seen many lives touched and transformed. Some have given their lives to Jesus; others have been delivered and restored to walk into their God ordained destiny. In addition, Apostle Dr. David has been used by God to touch lives in more than 24 nations all over the world through the free DVDs outreach.

Apostle Dr. David believes that greater days of ministry are those ahead. He is determined to pursue what God has put in his heart and to walk many into their God given destiny. He has a divine call to mentor other leaders into their calling through a ministry called “The Fathers Heart.” He has been a catalyst of change for many leaders by inspiring them with his wisdom and knowledge. More to being a dynamic leader and a mentor, he also operates under the anointing of an apostle, a pastor, a prophet as well as a teacher. His Leadership in Christ Harvesters Ministries International is raising a generation that will shake the world with the uncompromised truth of the gospel.
